About Triple8Training & Your Coach
Triple8 Training was founded by Billy Frank with one simple goal: to help riders unlock their potential through structured, professional coaching.
Billy’s journey in motocross began at a young age, racing competitively throughout New Zealand and achieving multiple national junior titles. Like many athletes, his path wasn’t without challenges. After undergoing multiple ACL reconstructions, Billy developed a deeper interest in the technical, physical, and mental aspects of performance.
What started as helping a handful of local riders quickly grew into a passion for coaching. Over the years, Billy has worked with riders of all ages and abilities, from complete beginners through to national champions and professional racers competing on the world stage.
Today, Triple8Training has become one of New Zealand’s leading motocross coaching programs. Riders travel from across the country to train with Billy, who has played a role in the development of some of New Zealand’s most successful young riders, including professional athletes competing in Australia and the United States.
At Triple8Training, coaching is about far more than simply riding laps. Every session focuses on developing the complete rider through technical skills, race craft, bike control, mindset, fitness, data analysis, and structured progression. Riders receive clear feedback, measurable goals, and proven training methods that create long-term improvement.
Whether you’re throwing a leg over a bike for the very first time or chasing national championships, Triple8Training is built around helping riders become faster, safer, smarter, and more confident every time they ride.
Our mission remains the same today as it did when Triple8Training first started: to provide world-class coaching that helps riders achieve more than they thought possible.
